The Garmin Forerunner 101™ offers athletes and recreational runners and walkers an entry-level personal training device that is GPS enabled. It measures speed, distance, pace and calories burned, and it runs on 2 AAA batteries. The Forerunner 101™ stores up to two years' worth of lap history in memory. You can retrieve lap data for previous workouts, so you can see how much progress you have made in your training.

How do I link my device?
Link your device
- Download the FitVault app on your smartphone and fill in the instructions to create a profile.
- Click on “Link a Fitness Device” in the FitVault app.
- Click on “Link via Health Kit” in the FitVault app.
- Once your device is linked, you will need to sync it each day to earn your active day.
When should I sync my device?
Sync your device with the FitVault app to log your daily steps and calories. Log 10 000 steps per day or burn 300 calories and you will have an active day.
